More things to do and see in the Trinity Bight areaIn early summer, icebergs rise majestically from the ocean off the shores around us.

Colourful and exotic wildflowers brighten the meadows, beaches, cliffs and woodlands. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of a moose or fox.

Bring your camera or paints. The photographic and painting subjects are varied and unusual.

Restaurants & Craft Shops
Trinity and the area offer charming restaurants, and craft shops specializing in Newfoundland crafts.

Bonavista & the Bonavista Peninsula
Bonavista is a forty-minute drive from Fishers' Loft. Visit the Ryan Premises, a recently restored national historic site about the east coast fishery. Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, the Legacy, a reproduction of John Cabot's ship The Matthew and several other natural and historic sites make for a great day of exploration and discovery.

On the way to Bonavista, stop at Maberly to see a puffin colony or spend an hour on a beautiful sandy beach. On the way home, stop at Mike Paterson's post and beam furniture showroom overlooking Bonavista Bay. All of the Loft's furniture has been made by Mike.

Within an hour's drive of Fishers' Loft is Terra Nova National Park and golf course.

We would be pleased to arrange theatre tickets, boat tours, restaurant reservations, or, for that matter, anything else.
